Several Bridges in Bucks Remain Closed

Twelve bridges in Bucks County remain closed due to Hurricane Irene.

PennDOT announced that 12 state bridges in Bucks County remain closed temporarily until flood waters from Hurricane Irene recede and bridge inspectors inspect the structures for storm damage. 

The state bridges that remain closed in Bucks County are:

  • Route 32 (River Road) over a tributary of the Delaware River in Solebury Township;
  • Phillips Mill Road over Primrose Creek in Solebury Township;
  • Route 32 (River Road) over Rabbits Run Solebury Township;
  • County Line Road over a branch of Little Neshaminy Creek in Warminster Township;
  • Bethlehem Pike over branch of Perkiomen Creek in Sellersville Borough;
  • Cat Hill Road over branch of Perkiomen Creek in West Rockhill Township;
  • County Line Road over branch Perkiomen Creek in West Rockill Township;
  • Allentown Road over Ridge Valley Creek in West Rockhill Township;
  • Upper Ridge Road over Unami Creek in Milford Township;
  • Dublin Pike over Morgan Creek in Richland Township;
  • Front Street over Beaver Creek in Quakertown Borough; and
  • Creamery Road over Tohickon Creek in Bedminster Township.

PennDOT today reopened 26 bridges in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties following inspections.
