Elder Law Attorney to Offer Seminar on Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefits

Attleboro Assisted Living Community will host Richard L. Newman, elder law attorney and the principal of Newman Elder Law for a FREE seminar about the Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefit, a little know benefit for which many veterans and their spouses may qualify. The program will take place on Thursday, November 8 at 2:00 PM, at Attleboro Assisted Living, 290 Winchester Avenue, Langhorne, Pa.  To RSVP, call 215-750-7575.

The Aid & Attendance benefit is a special monthly benefit paid in addition to a regular pension. A veteran can be eligible for this benefit if he or she develops a non-service related disability and needs assistance with the activities of daily living. Newman will discuss what the Aid & Attendance benefit covers and how veterans and their spouses can apply for this benefit. He will also answer any questions attendees may have about this benefit.

Knowledge is power, so veterans and their loved ones are invited to attend this FREE presentation and learn more about eligibility requirements and how they may qualify.
