Tamanend Park Herb Gardening Club Meeting

The Tamanend Park Herb Gardening Club meets the third Wednesday of each month, from January through November:

• Meetings start at 7:30 PM with a brief business meeting, followed by a guest speaker or group activity.
• Meetings are held in the Farmhouse in Tamanend Park.
• Dues are $5.00 per year, payable from May to August.
• Club activities include an herb sale, a yearly garden trip, a June Garden Tea, and an August picnic.

May's guest speaker will be Jerry Fritz of Linden Hill Gardens, located in Ottsville. His innovative design skills and extensive knowledge of plants make him a popular speaker. He has even appeared on the Martha Stewart Show! On Wednesday night, Jerry will be presenting a program on “Deer-Resistant Plants” and have plants for sale at the presentation.  All are welcome to join the club for annual dues of $10 or pay $3 as a guest to hear Mr. Fritz lecture.

·    Refreshments will be served following the business meeting, Mr. Fritz will speak starting at 7:45pm.
