The Teaching Garden - Volunteers

The club maintains a teaching garden in the park, next to the Farmhouse, that features various specimen plants in various categories: medicinal, culinary, silver, fragance, and dyer's herbs - as well as mints and teas, lliums, and oriental herbs. If you have or want to learn more about growing herbs try volunteering. Herb volunteers are needed 6:30PM every Wednesday night, April through October, for weeding, mulching, and general maintenance. Someone from the club is usually there every Wednesday evening and can talk with you about cultivating and enjoying herbs
