Help a Local Family in Need This Holiday Season

Several food pantries across Bucks County are in need of donations; read what you can do to help.

Help local families put food on their table this holiday season by donating to a food pantry.

The Bucks County Housing Group runs three community food pantries, located in Doylestown, Penndel and Milford Square. The pantries always welcome donations.

Need some ideas as to what to donate? Below is a list of suggested items offered by BCHG:

Fruit, canned tuna, spaghetti sauce, sugar, gravy, Chunky soups, rice, coffee, microwave meals, powdered mild, cereal, salad dressing. Other ideas include kid-friendly items, such as: Spaghettios, fruit cups, apple sauce, peanut butter, raviolis, grape jelly, fruit roll ups and baby food.

Donations are accepted during the following hours:

Penndel:

Monday: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.


Wednesday: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m

Thursday: 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Doylestown:

Wednesday: 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m.


Thursday: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Sunday : 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Milford Square:

Tuesday: 5 p.m.- 7:40 p.m

Wednesday: 5 p.m.-7:40 p.m
.

Thursday: 5 p.m.- 7:40 p.m.
