Fire Departments Extricate Elderly Woman from Car
Members of the Southampton Fire Company and the Warminster Fire Department used hydraulic rescue tools free an elderly woman after a car wreck.
A two-vehicle accident on Davisville Road forced firefighters to use hydraulic rescue equipment to free the elderly driver.
No serious injuries were reported in the accident, which happened at the intersection of Davisville Road and Harding Road, shortly after noon.
Police at the scene confirmed that a car driven by young woman t-boned a tan car driven by an elderly woman, sending the elderly woman's car across Davisville Road onto Hostman Avenue on the Warminster side.

Police said the elderly woman was not seriously hurt but was complaining of neck pain.
According to officials, shortly after police and EMT's arrived at the scene of the accident they discovered the woman was trapped in her car and called for fire crews to extricate her.

Firefighters from the Southampton Fire Company and the Warminster Fire Department responded and used special hydraulic rescue equipment to free the trapped victim.
It took rescue crews approximately to free the woman from the car. She was then transported to the hospital.
Upper Southampton Police are investigating the accident.
