Nail Salon Murder Trial Pushed Back
The trial of Thuy "Tony" Vo was scheduled to begin on Monday. Following a hearing earlier this week, the trial was delayed until October.
The man who police say murdered the owner of last November will be waiting a little longer for his day in court.
The trial of Thuy “Tony” Vo, 31, of Philadelphia, was scheduled to start in Bucks County Court in Doylestown on June 20. Earlier this week, the trial was rescheduled for October.
The Intelligencer reports lawyers on both sides of the case requested the delay.

An-Hnan Thi Huynh, who was known to customers as “Kim” and friends as “Annie,” was found dead inside a bathroom at the rear of her salon in the Pike Place Shopping Center on Nov. 8.
The Bucks County Coroner determined that Huynh had been strangled.

Police said the Huynh and Vo had been observed having serious arguments in the days leading up to the incident and that an investigation revealed Vo had withdrawn thousands of dollars from Huynh's bank account the day prior to her death.
Vo is charged with murder, theft and receiving stolen property. He is being held in Bucks County Prison without bail.
If convicted of first-degree murder, Vo could face life in prison. Prosecutors have said they will not seek the death peanlty.
