Search Continues for Car Involved in Hit-and-Run

Police are asking for help locating the vehicle involved in Monday night's hit-and-run accident on Maple Avenue.

According to witnesses, shortly before 10 p.m. Monday, a car struck Lea Foehl in the eastbound lane of Maple Avenue near Stahl Road. The driver then continued Eastbound towards Second Street Pike, leaving the scene of the accident.

Police said their investigation revealed that the striking vehicle is a gold or tan colored Chevrolet Impala manufactured in 2006 through 2012, noting that it is likely the vehicle will have damage to the passenger side front end and a broken headlight housing.
