Southampton's Newest Man in Blue is Brown

Officer Andrew Brown received his badge after being sworn in this morning.

Upper Southampton has a new man in blue.

Andrew Brown, of Lansdale,  is officially Upper Southampton Police Department's newest officer. 

He received his badge after being sworn in by Judge William Benz in his Northampton courtroom earlier this morning.

Brown is now set to begin his field training with the department, which will last approximately 12 weeks.

He is a recent graduate of the Montgomery County Police Academy and also holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Kings College.

According to officials at a recent Upper Southampton Township Board of Supervisors meeting, Brown will begin the position with an annual salary of $45,962.
