TD Bank Robbery Suspect Nabbed in Virginia

A Levittown man was arrested in Virginia Friday night and will be extradited back to Bucks County.

Lower Southampton police report that a suspect in Wednesday night's TD Bank robbery has been apprehended in Virginia, approximately 50 miles south of Richmond, Va.

Keith Hawk, 44, of Levittown, was arrested Friday night by the Dinwiddie County, Va., Sheriffs Department as a result of a traffic stop, according to a statement from the Lower Southampton Police Department.

"Hawk is in custody in Virginia and will be extradited to Pennsylvania as soon as possible," the press release says. Three felony charges of robbery, theft and receiving stolen property are pending for Hawk's preliminary arraignment.

Hawk is accused of robbing the TD Bank at the corner of Street Road and Philmont Ave. at approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday. Police say he gave the teller a note demanding money, then left the bank and drove south on Philmont in a dark-colored Honda Pilot with no tags.
