Petri Postpones Town Hall Meeting
Governor Corbett's $27.14 billion 2012-2013 budget proposal is set to be discussed.
State Representative Scott Petri (R-178) has announced he is postponing his town hall meeting set to be held at the on Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be rescheduled for Thursday, June 14 at 7 p.m.
“As time goes on it is evident that the cuts outlined in the 2012-13 budget will depend largely on the revenue generated in the final months of this fiscal year,” Petri stated. He hopes that by June he "will have a clearer sense of our state’s financial condition"
The informational meeting will let constituents get more information on Governor Corbett’s $27.14 billion 2012-2013 budget proposal. Petri, vice chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, will also take questions from the audience.

Petri has held two meetings on the budget in recent weeks - one in and another in Wrightstown.
The 178th district that Petri serves represents Ivyland, Northampton, Warwick, Wrightstown, Upper Makefield and Upper Southampton.
