Centennial Hires New Assistant Superintendent

Joyce Mundy was named the district's assistant superintendent of education K-12 Tuesday evening.

The Centennial School Board approved the hiring of a new member of administration Tuesday evening. 

The board voted 8-0 to approve Joyce Mundy for the position of Assistant Superintendent of Education K-12. (School Board President Andrew Pollock was not present for the meeting and therefore did not vote.)

Mundy declined the offer to make a public statement during the meeting, but thanked the board for the opportunity.

Mundy's last position was with the New Hope-Solebury School District, where she was recognized as the Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principal’s 2010 Middle Level Principal of the Year.

According to a PAESSP Press Release, Mundy has earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Cabrini College; a master of education degree from Beaver College (Arcadia University) and a K-12 Administrative Certificate from Immaculata University.

Mundy currently resides in Haddon Heights, NJ. She said she grew up in Warminster and looks forward to returning to the area for work.
