Michael McGuigan, an attorney from Upper Southampton, has filed a lawsuit against the on behalf of his two sons, the Bucks County Courier Times reported Wednesday evening.
In the suit, the father, who is seeking $50,000 in damages, claims the district denied bus transportation to MaST Community Charter School in Northeast Philadelphia for his two sons. The district claims they stopped bus service after the boys were caught acting inappropriately. The boys denied the allegations in court documents, the paper reported.
On Wednesday, McGuigan filed for an emergency injunction to keep his two sons, both of whom are under 18, on district buses to the charter school, according to the article.
