This program is a gentle yoga and is described as "Kripalu Yoga" it is a gradual progression of specific postures to tone, relax and steady the body. Gentle Yoga is wonderful for people of all ages including mothers-to-be. All internal organs are massaged, nurtured and nourished through the amazing energy that yoga creates throughout the body and mind. One's nervous system is calmed and the body opens up and releases toxins. Therefore, when prenatal women practice gentle yoga, new babies have more room to grow and properly develop and the mother-to-be becomes tuned in to her breath as well as the needs of the baby.
