Open House at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology

Know a high school student who is interested in learning a trade? Check out what MBIT has to offer this Thursday.

Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, located at 2740 Old York Road, Jamison, PA is hosting its annual Open House on Thursday evening, January 5, 2012.

All of our lab areas will be open from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and visitors can either explore the building independently or join a guided tour of our program areas. In the main lobby, guests will find a listing of each program’s activities, along with a map of the school.

MBIT’s 21 career and technical programs for secondary students are as follows:

In addition, you will be able to see our newest program for the 2011-2012 school year, Building Trades Occupations, and visit our “Ask the Officers” table, where you can speak to our SkillsUSA student officers for their perspective on being an MBIT student.

Demonstrations in our program areas will be the main focus of the evening. Visitors will have opportunities to speak with faculty, staff, and students and will be able to gather valuable career information.

Prospective students, parents, and community members are invited to examine MBIT’s curriculum and work-based opportunities. Visitors will learn how MBIT can help students establish foundations for successful career paths.
