WTHS Walk-Through, Take Two

For the second time this month, members of the community are invited to take one last walk through the hallowed halls of the old WTHS building.

A second walk-through event will commence on the steps of the soon-to-be demolished William Tennent High School building this evening.

The , which drew approximately 500 participants, took place last Wednesday; that event was primarily organized through social media.

This gathering, officially announced on the district's website as a farewell to "Old WTHS", is being touted as the "final goodbye."

Workers are expected to begin the asbestos abatement process in the upcoming weeks, and the demolition of the structure will begin in earnest early next year.

If you care to wax nostalgic as you walk through the building and capture one last look inside of the now "old" WTHS, you can join the walk-through anytime between 6 and 8 p.m. this evening, at the high school.
