End of Season Softball Tournament in Full Swing

The Southampton Girls Club softball tournament is the sporting event to attend this weekend.

Shades of blue, gold, yellow and red colored the three Southampton Pozzi Field baseball diamonds Saturday. The cloudy skies and threat of rain did nothing to stop the girls from chanting team cheers to encourage their friends. As the games rolled on, girls from the many other teams gathered to warm up and prepare to step up to the plate.

The tournament takes place all day Sunday, wrapping up the community league’s season. Take some time to see some friendly, local competition at Southampton Pozzi Field, at Tamanend Park next to Klinger Middle School.
