Southampton's Top Roller Leading the Pack in US Bowling Open

Bill O'Neill leads a field of 24 into the start of match play in the national tournament.

Southampton's own Bill O’Neill is in the lead heading into the opening round of match play in the 68th Lumber Liquidators U.S. Open bowling tournament.

According to PBA.com, O’Neill, who enters the competition as the defending champion, held a 114-pin lead over 2006 U.S. Open winner Tommy Jones of Simpsonville, S.C., and a 129-pin edge over 2008 U.S. Open champ Norm Duke of Clermont, Fla.
