Plan Your Southampton Days: July 2

The Fourth of July celebration begins a few days early in Southampton with the .

The festivities are set to begin this evening at the  ballfield at 6 p.m.

, here's what you will find at tonight's fair:

• At 6:30 p.m. will perform on the Children's Stage.
• From 7 to 8:30 p.m., the will perform at the Lion's Grove
• From 8:30 to 10 p.m. catch Zydeco-a-go-go on the Midway Stage. (Zydeco-a-go-go's perfomance is sponsored by the Friends of Tamanend Park.)

Admission to the fair is free. Special week-long amusement ride bands can be purchased for $40.

Parking for the fair is available for $2 per car at , with proceeds benefitting .

The fair will run from 6 until 11 p.m. every night through Saturday, July 7.
