What is going on along the rail line in our township?

Does anyone in our township know exactly what is going on along the rail line in Upper Southampton?  I have seen various people in yellow vests "working" along the line but have not heard anything formal from the township regarding what appears to track clearing?  Is this the Southampton Railroad Station Society doing the work or another group known as the Newtown Branch Preservation Foundation?  Or are these two one in the same?  The people didn't appear to work for Septa...

If anyone can help to clarify it would be greatly appreciated.
