YWCA to Recognize Outstanding Women

Do you know a woman making a difference in her workplace or community?

There's still time to nominate her for the YWCA's 21st Annual Salute to Women Who Make a Difference Awards Dinner.

The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on May 10 at and includes a cocktail hour and silent auction.

"There is still plenty of time for a company or organization in Bucks County to nominate and honor a woman who has made an outstanding contribution at her workplace or in the larger community," said Ken Lynch, director of marketing, communications and resource development. "This fundraising event recognizes the achievements of women throughout the County."

Women who fit the bill are those who have made exemplary efforts in contributing to her company or her community in service.

Tickets are $70 and there are sponsorships available as well. The proceeds benefit YWCA programs and services that help low-income Bucks County women and their families.
