Fred J. Stackpole Elementary School opened its doors to the children of Upper Southampton Township in 1965. Today the school has approximately 500 students enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade. The building includes 30 traditional classrooms as well as several other smaller rooms for specialized instruction. In 2012, as part of a plan to reduce the number of elementary schools within the district, it will be closed. Students will attend a new building that will serve all of the students in Centennial's Region 1. This new building is currently under construction at the former site of Davis Elementary School.
