Eugene Klinger Middle School

Eugene Klinger Junior High School first opened its doors in September 1965. Nestled among the backdrop of TamanendMore Park, the school originally served just 7th and 8th grade students. In 1990, Klinger changed to its current middle school designation, and began serving 6th grade students in addition to 7th and 8th grade students.

Klinger's namesake, Mr. F. Eugene Klinger, is known for his dedication to the schools in the area. He served in several districts, including Lower Moreland, Upper Southampton and Centennial.

Fred J. Stackpole Elementary School

Fred J. Stackpole Elementary School opened its doors to the children of Upper Southampton Township in 1965. Today theMore school has approximately 500 students enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade. The building includes 30 traditional classrooms as well as several other smaller rooms for specialized instruction. In 2012, as part of a plan to reduce the number of elementary schools within the district, it will be closed. Students will attend a new building that will serve all of the students in Centennial's Region 1. This new building is currently under construction at the former site of Davis Elementary School.
