Car Thief Caught After Crashing Stolen SUV, Cops Say

Hatboro man charged in theft of vehicle from outside an Upper Southampton gym last week.

A Hatboro man has been charged with multiple felonies after police say he stole a Chevy Suburban parked outside of Retro Fitness last week.   Brandyn Marcarian, 26, was charged with theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of automobiles, driving with a suspended license and providing false identification to law enforcement. Police said the charges stem from the theft of a 2006 Chevrolet Suburban from the parking lot of the Hampton Square Shopping Center on April 8. According to the arrest affidavit, the owner of the Suburban parked her car in the lot, then hung her keys on the hooks near the office of Retro Fitness while she worked out. She told police that when she finished her workout, both her keys and her car were missing.  …

Upper Southampton Police report a theft from a residence as well as three unrelated arrests.

The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department:   Theft Unit Block of Charlotte Avenue Sometime between Tuesday, March 26 and Friday, April 5 Someone stole three aluminum ladders from the side of a home on the unit block of Charlotte Avenue. Warrant, Vehicle Theft Charges on Street Road

Upper Southampton Police arrested two men in separate incidents on Wednesday.

The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Arrest: Wanted Person 1700 Street Road Wednesday, Feb. 13, 11:57 a.m. A 28-year-old Fallisington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. He was turned over to the Bucks County Sherrif's deputies.  Arrest: Theft Street and Davisville Roads Wednesday, Feb. 13, 4:35 p.m. A 24-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly took a car from family members several days earlier. Police said they spotted him driving the car, stopped him and then arrested and charged with theft, receiving stolen property, possession of controlled substances and DUI. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail.

Alleged Drunk Driver Wanted on Warrant, Cops Say

The driver involved in a crash on Street Road Saturday morning was also wanted on an outstanding warrant, according to Upper Southampton Police.

The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Arrest Second Street Pike and Street Road Saturday, Feb. 9, 9:19 a.m. A 28-year-old Warrington woman was arrested and charged with DUI following a minor accident Saturday.  Police said the driver was found to be wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff's Office on an outstanding bench warrant.  Citation 200 block of Charles Street Sunday, Feb. 10, 5:37 p.m. A 25-year-old Philadelphia man was cited for disorderly conduct. Fraud 1200 block of Whitney Road Monday, Feb. 11. A resident reported someone had attempted to make unauthorized purchases with their Wells Fargo credit card online. The bank allerted the card holder and the transactions were stopped.

Police Arrest Fugitive Following Traffic Stop

Information regarding incidents and arrests as reported by the Upper Southampton Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Arrest Street and Davisville Roads Thursday, Jan. 24, 2:06 a.m. Jason Bonnel, 22, of Edison, NJ, was stopped for an equipment violation on Street Road when it was discovered that he was wanted in Union County, NJ for Posession of Dangerous Drugs. Police said a subsequent search of Bonnel's car revealed drug paraphernalia. Bonnel was arraigned by Judge Benz on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charge and Fugitive from Justice charge. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Alleged Suspect in Warminster Shooting in Custody

Jose Delgado faces several charges including discharging a firearm, terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

Police say a man who allegedly fired off several shots inside a County Line Road eatery Friday morning has turned himself in. NBC10 reports Jose Delgado, accompanied by his lawyer, surrendered to Warminster Police last night. Delgado faces several charges including discharging a firearm, terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail. Warminster Police Chief Mike Murphy said Delgado, the former owner of MamaJuana’s Kitchen, entered the restaurant just after 10 a.m. Friday morning and fired four shots from a semi-automatic hand gun at the current owner before fleeing the area.  A preliminary hearing before Magisterial Justice …

Police: Robbery Report Was a Hoax

The Upper Southampton Chief of Police issued a statement Friday afternoon saying the robbery near the community center Wednesday night was a false story, concocted by the alleged victim.

Upper Southampton Police issued a press release Thursday morning reporting that a man had been assaulted and robbed in the vicinity of the Community Center late Wednesday evening.  In a statement released Friday afternoon, Chief of Police Ron MacPherson said the robbery was a hoax and the man who made the report has been arrested. Noel Tadeo-Resendiz, 29, of Southampton, allegedly told police he was robbed and assaulted by three men while walking home from his job at Las Margaritas Restaurant Wednesday night. According to MacPherson, an investigation into the incident revealed that Tadeo-Resendiz was actually riding his bike to his home in the Dorchester Apartments when he crashed into a parked car on Tabor Avenue. Dinkins Surrenders to Police, Faces Multiple Felony Charges

The former choral director for William Tennent was unable to post 10 percent of the $800,000 bail and has been sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Former William Tennent choral director Tyrone Dinkins has been charged with two felony counts of unlawful contact with a minor and several misdemeanor charges of corruption of minors, indecent assault and harassment during an arraignment hearing Tuesday afternoon at the Warminster district court. District Judge Daniel Finello set bail at $800,000, but Dinkins was unable to post a 10 percent bond and has been sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. If he is able to post bail, Dinkins must stay away from all high school facilities and events and can only be around his three children under adult supervision, per the court's orders.
