Major Suburban Meth Ring is Caught

A methamphetamine trafficking organization that worked in Pennsylvania through Bucks and Montgomery counties have been caught in "Operation Blowout."

A $3.5 million methamphetamine trafficking organization, which stretched from the Philadelphia suburbs – including Bucks and Montgomery counties – into the Lehigh Valley, has been stopped, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office. “Operation Blowout,” a joint investigation, has identified 27 individuals allegedly linked to the ring that stretched from Mexico and Texas into Pennsylvania. Witness Points to Southampton Man as Leader in Health Insurance Scam

Ross Rabelow, 53, of the 500 block of Jason Drive, is accused of conspiring to operate a financial fraud scheme specifically aimed at elderly victims.

Testimony is scheduled to continue Thursday in the preliminary hearing of an Upper Southampton man charged with bilinkg several hundreds of thousands of dollars from seniors in a state-wide health insurance scam. Ross Rabelow, 53, of the 500 block of Jason Drive, is charged with participating in a corrupt organization, theft, unfair business practices, insurance fraud, conspiracy and dealing in proceeds from unlawful activity. These charges stem from Rabelow's alleged participation in what authorities called "Operation False Comfort." Southampton Man Charged in Statewide Senior Financial Fraud Scheme

Ross Rabelow, 52, of Jason Drive, was charged along with three other co-defendants Tuesday for allegedly conspiring to defraud senior citizens into purchasing bogus home care services.

Agents from the Attorney General’s Insurance Fraud Section and Elder Abuse Unit have filed criminal charges against four Philadelphia area men accused of operating an elaborate financial fraud scheme targeting hundreds of senior citizens across Pennsylvania. Attorney General Linda Kelly identified the defendants as Bruce Howard Cherry, 52, of Philadelphia; Ross M. Rabelow, 52, of Southampton, Bucks County; Thomas J. Muldoon, 57, of Broomall, Delaware County; and Robert P. Lerner, 56, of Philadelphia. Churchville Chiropractor Charged with Fraud

Harold Bloom, owner of Weather Vane Wellness Center, stands accused of filling more than 100,000 in fraudulent insurance claims at his Churchville business.

An Ivyland man stands accused of filing thousands of dollars in fraudulent insurance claims out of his local chiropractic office.  According to Attorney General Linda Kelly, Howard Bloom, 55, of 8 Lincoln Circle, submitted more than $116,000 in fraudulent medicare claims, many of which originated from his Weather Vane Wellness Center in Churchville.  According to the criminal complaint, Bloom submitted bogus insurance claims under a billing code that required a doctor to have direct one-on-one contact with a patient. Instead, Bloom allegedly submitted claims for more than 2,000 treatments which were actually performed by massage therapists, rather than administering the therapies himself.
