The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Retail Theft Giant Food Store, 466 Second Street Pike Tuesday, March 5, 5:30 p.m. A 50-year-old Richboro man was cited for retail theft at the Giant Food Store. Burglary 400 Block of Rick Road Wednesday, March 6, Sometime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Police report a burglar forced open the rear door of a home on Rick Road Wednesday. The homeowner said jewelry was missing from the home. Unknown value of loss.

Lower Moreland Police say similar incidents have been reported in neighboring townships, including Upper Southampton.
The Lower Moreland Police Department has released a sketch of the individual wanted in a recent home invasion in Huntingdon Valley. The incident was the latest of a string of home robberies that have occurred in Lower Moreland. But according to the police, this kind of activity is happening in many townships across Bucks and Montgomery Counties. “We’ve seen an equivalent number of robberies here than in other townships,” Lower Moreland Police Det./Sgt. Neighbors in the area of Miller Drive and Williams Drive called police Tuesday evening to report "a suspicious man knocking on doors." The man had reportedly been seen wandering aimlessly through the neighborhood for several hours, knocking on the doors of various residences. One resident told Patch of his experience with the individual: "It was strange. He knocked, I answered, and then when I asked him what he wanted, he really didn't seem to know. I felt like the entire time he was talking to me he was looking past me, eyeing up the contents of my house." The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Burglary Unit block of Fairhill Road Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday, July 9 Homeowner discovered someone broke into their home through a kitchen window and stole an unknown amount of jewelry. Fraud 400 block of Jefferson Drive Monday, July 9 A resident recieved a check for winning a sweepstakes. They were told to cash the check and send a lesser amount on to cover the cost of processing the winnings. The check was counterfeit and the resident did not send any money after being advised that this was a scam.
