Parts of County Line Road Restricted to One Lane of Travel

Motorists who drive County Line Road between Centennial Road and Huntingdon Pike may want to find an alternate route, especially during peak hours of travel.

Travel on County Line Road between Centennial Road and Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike/Second Street Pike) will be restricted to one lane of travel beginning Monday, as the ongoing water main installation project continues.  The work schedule is as follows:  • Monday through Friday (Jan. 7-11) – Eastbound and westbound County Line will be restricted between Centennial Road and Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike/2nd Street Pike) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews will work at night from Monday (Jan 7.) through Jan. 19 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. • Jan. 20 through April 6 – County Line Road will be closed and detoured between Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike/2nd Street Pike) in Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County and Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County. …

County Line Road to be Closed at Night Through Jan. 2013

PennDOT announced a portion of County Line Road will be closed Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning this Sunday.

The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority (BCWSA) will close County Line Road between Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike/Second Street Pike) and Pine Road beginning this Sunday (Oct. 21) for water main installation. This nighttime road closure is expected to last through Jan. 31, 2013. The work is being completed by BCWSA under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit. This project is totally unorganized! I spent an hour trying to find a way to get to my home on Gravel Hill Road. I complained to one of the workers that the detour signs were completely inadequate, and I was rebuffed and told that there were sufficient signs instructing people where to go. Portion of Stump Road to Close for Repairs

Stump Road will be closed and detoured between County Line Road and Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) Monday, May 14 through Wednesday, May 16.

Stump Road will be closed and detoured between County Line Road and Limekiln Pike in Warrington Township beginning 7 a.m. Monday. It is anticipated that this portion of Stump Road will remain closed through Wednesday, May 16 for reconstruction. However, PennDOT stresses that this construction schedule is dependent upon the weather. The closure is to facilitate part of PennDOT’s $13.5 million project to widen County Line Road to five lanes between Stump Road and Route 202 (Doylestown Road). During the road closure, Stump Road through traffic will be detoured over County Line Road, Upper State Road and Route 152 (Limekiln Pike). County Line Road to be Closed for Railroad Bridge Repair

County Line Road between Heaton Road and Second Street Pike will be closed to traffic beginning Monday. Officials are warning motorists to anticipate delays in the area.

Norfolk Southern Railroad will close the stretch of County Line Road that runs between Heaton Road and Second Street Pike next week. According to PennDOT, the closure will remain in effect from 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 for rail crossing replacement.  "They will be replacing the concrete in the area between the railroad crossing," said PennDOT Community Relations Coordinator Charles Metzger. Metzger said this project will allow for a safer crossing for the trains, as well as provide a new, smooth roadway for motorists.  During construction, County Line Road through traffic will be detoured over Route 232 (Second Street Pike), via Jaymor Road and James Way.
