The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Theft from Vehicle 283 Second Pike Wednesday, May 30 Sometime between Friday, May 25 and Wednesday, May 30 someone forced their way into a van parked on Second Street Pike and stole a radio/GPS system valued at $800. Theft 725 County Line Road Wednesday, May 30 Sometimes over the last two weeks an unknown person removed two overhead garage door gates from the rear of Apex Overhead Doors. Unknown value. Credit Card Fraud 500 block of Kutcher Road Wednesday, May 30 A resident reported that their Visa Debit Card was either lost or stolen on Tuesday, May 29. The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Drug Possession 1700 block of Street Road Thursday, April 26, 12:30 a.m. Amber Lynn West, 22, of Wilmington, Del., and Megan Kutney, 23, of Wilmington, Del., were stopped for a traffic violation when drugs and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found in their car. Both to receive a summonds. Hoax Mom Bonnie Sweeten learned her fate on charges of fraud today.
Bonnie Sweeten, 40, formerly of Feasterville, was sentenced today to 100 months, or eight years, in prison for fraud schemes and was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,091,831 and a special assessment of $200. Sweeten remains in federal custody. A federal judge ruled that Bonnie Sweeten stole more than $1 million from business associates and family members before reporting a fake carjacking and fleeing to Disney World with her daughter. Sweeten pleaded guilty June 21, 2011 to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. According to a press release issued by the U.S. Attornery's Office, Sweeten stole funds from family members, from the law office where she had been employed, and from the law firm’s clients. The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Fraud 800 block of Churchville Road Friday, Jan. 20 Resident reported to police that an unknown person charged $900 worth of merchandise to their visa credit card at a Bloomingdales in Virginia. Harassment 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue Saturday, Jan. 21, 9:45 a.m. Kevin Vilsmeier, 45, of Philadelphia, was cited for harassment following a parking dispute.

Bonnie Sweeten appeared in federal court Wednesday for sentencing on fraud charges; she has already served one year for a kidnapping hoax perpetrated in Southampton back in 2009.
A federal judge ruled that Bonnie Sweeten stole more than $1 million from business associates and family members before reporting a fake carjacking and fleeing to Disney World with her daughter. Sweeten, 40, formerly of Feasterville, spent one year in prison on the fake kidnapping claim. She returned to court today to receive a sentence on the additional fraud charges. NBC10 reports that the sentencing may not conclude today and testimony is expected to continue this afternoon. Sweeten plead guilty to fraud and aggravated identity theft last year. In exchange for her guilty pleas, prosecutors are seeking a penalty of 10 years in prison.

The following information was supplied by the Upper Southampton Police Department: Arrest: Assault 700 Block of Second Street Pike Thursday, Nov. 10, 11 p.m. Edwin Eidell-Stoddard, 38, of Southampton, was arrested and charged with simple assault and related offenses following a disturbance on the 700 block of Second Street Pike Thursday night. Eidell-Stoddard was arraigned infront of Judge Peranteau and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $40,000/10 percent bail. Fraud 600 Block of Cedarbrook Road Reported to police on Thursday, Nov. 11 Police are investigating reports from a resident who said their Social Security checks had been diverted to another address without their knowledge.
