'Wheels for Ken Kline' Beef & Beer May 4

The benefit will be held at the Southampton Day Camp from 6 to 11 p.m.

Wheels for Ken Kline is hosting a beef and beer to benefit Township Code Enforcement Officer Officer and Volunteer Firefighter Ken Kline.  Back in September 2012, Kline was injured in an accident that left him confined to a wheelchair. Friends of Ken's have banned together to form the group "Wheels for Ken Kline," in an attempt to help raise funds to defer the cost of a handicapped accessible vehicle, which can often run upwards of $40,000. The benefit will be held at the Southampton Day Camp, 1459 Second Street Pike, from 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. Admission includes food, beer and entertainment. 'Prayers for Pasquale' Benefit at Maggio's Saturday

Pasquale Troisi, a Navy Petty Officer, died after suffering burns from an explosion at his homecoming party.

Maggio's Restaurant is hosting a benefit for Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Pasquale Troisi and his family on Saturday, April 20. Troisi, an Archbishop Wood High School graduate and U.S Navy War Veteran, served four terms oversees. Upon returning from his most recent tour in Afghanistan, he and his family flew from San Diego to his hometown in Warminster to celebrate his safe return. During this homecoming, on February 22nd, Pasquale suffered burns to 77 percent of his body when a backyard chiminea exploded.   He was medevacked to Temple Burn Center in Philadelphia, where he was medically induced into a coma.  After fighting for his life for more than 3 weeks, Pasquale passed away the morning of March 18, 2013.  The 'Prayers for Pasquale' …

Southampton Baseball Gear On Sale

Southampton Baseball, in conjunction with Kampus Klothes of Ivyland, is holding an online fundraiser from now through Friday. 'Girls' Night Out' at Tennent Friday

The fourth annual event benefiting the Southampton Free Library will take place in the WTHS cafeteria this Friday evening.

Ladies, it's that time again — time to get together and get your shop on, and all for a good cause! The Southampton Free Library's fourth annual 'Girls' Night Out' will be held this Friday evening in the cafeteria of William Tennent High School from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The event has grown each year it has taken place and this year promises to be no different, with many vendors signed up to participate. The $5 entrance fee includes door prizes and there will be 50/50 raffle tickets for sale. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Southampton Free Library.

Play Coach Bingo at McDonald Elementary

Coach Bags will be raffled at the end of the evening; all proceeds benefit McDonald's fifth-grade class.

Toast to Helping Those Affected by Cancer

Support Gilda's Club during a fundraiser at a Doylestown bar this weekend.

Gilda's Club of Delaware Valley is hosting a fundraising event in Doylestown on Friday, Jan. 25. Board Member Gini Gramaglia, owner of Gini G’s Salon and Day Spa in Southampton, will be guest bartending at The Freight House. A portion of the proceeds will go to Gilda's Club Delaware Valley.  The event will run from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Freight House, 194 West Ashland Avenue, in Doylestown.  Gilda’s Club is a local, non-profit organization that provides more than 100 free social and emotional support programs for men, women, and children with cancer, as well as people who are affected by it.

Eat Pancakes with Santa on Saturday

The Kiwinas Club will host a pancake breakfast with Santa at Applebees on Dec. 1.

Santa will be visiting Southampton a little early this year, as he will be in town for a pancake breakfast at Applebee's this Saturday.  Children and Adults can dine with Jolly Ol' Saint Nick, courtesy of the Southampton Kiwanis Club, on December 1 from 8 to 10 a.m. Tickets are $7 per person and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Each ticket includes admission to the all-you-can eat pancake breakfast as well as one picture with the guest of honor, Santa Claus.  Proceeds will benefit the community service projects of the Southampton Kiwanis Club.
