The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for a sloppy mix of rain, sleet and snow. The storm brings the possibility of one inch of snow accumulating by Wednesday afternoon in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Forecasters predict a 100 percent chance of precipitation before 4 p.m. Here's the NWS forecast:

The National Weather Service has extended the flash flood warning for Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia and surrounding counties until 11:30 a.m. Sunday. At 5:18 a.m. Sunday, the NWS said its Doppler Radar indicated bands of heavy rain from Hurricane Irene continuing to circulate over southern and central New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania. The NWS said three to eight inches have already fallen across the warned area and additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are expected through about midday. With the heavy amount of rain, creeks and rivers in the area pose major flood concerns. In Pennsylvania, NWS said the French Creek at Phoenixville is above flood stage. Flash Flood Warning Also In Effect Through Sunday Morning
The National Weather Service late Saturday issued a tornado watch for southeastern Bucks and Montgomery counties that remains in effect until 5 a.m. Sunday. The NWS service said a flash flood warning is also in effect through Sunday morning for the region. Check here for more on that. Other surrounding counties affected include northeastern Philadelphia County and northwestern Burlington County. The NWS said the tornado is expected to be near or in Bristol, Burlington, Levittown, Tullytown, Langhorne, Bensalem, Andalusia and Feasterville. The NWS said the warning was issued based on Doppler radar readings indicating that a strong rotation was detected as Hurricane Irene makes its way through the region.
