No Powerball Winner; Jackpot Reaches Record High of $425M
The Powerball jackpot reaches a record $425 million, as there was no winner Saturday.
While there were no jackpot winners in Saturday's Powerball drawing, more than two million players across the nation won a share in $25.2 M in prize money, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association's website. Saturday's drawing was for a jackpot of $325 M, but since no one held a ticket with the winning combination of 22-32-37-44- 50 and powerball 34, the jackpot will roll to a record $425 M. The association reports that one person from NY held a ticket that matched 5 numbers including the power play for a prize of $2M and a total of eight winners from various states won $1M for matching 5 numbers. The next drawing will be held Wednesday evening. Powerball tickets are sold in 42 states, including Pennsylvania.
