Storm Could Bring 2 to 4 Inches of Snow to Southampton
The latest forecast for Upper Southampton predicts this weekend's storm will bring rain and then possibly more than a half-foot of snow.
Updated: 5:50 p.m. A winter storm could bring 2 to 4 inches of snow to the Southampton area over Friday night. That's less than 3 to 7 inches predicted in this morning's forecast. The lastest forecast from the National Weather Service predicts rain and snow with it turning to all snow at about 4 a.m. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for southeast Pennsylvania, including the Southampton area at 3:20 p.m. on Feb. 7. In that bulletin, forecasters predicted 4 to 8 inches of snow, with a trace of ice. Are your shovels ready? Or are you a snowblower person?

I moved from Holland to northern Wisconsin back in Sept. We get some serious snow here. Fortunately people here are used to it and panic doesn't set in. No run on the grocery store, no last minute craziness and most fortunately people tend to drive within the limits of the vehicles and roads.
