1 to 4 Inches of Snow Expected Saturday

The National Weather Service reports snow is coming Dec. 29 with up to 4 inches of accumulation in northern Bucks and Montgomery counties.

So far this week, we had a white Christmas and a post-Christmas snow and ice storm, and this weekend, 1 to 4 inches is expected across much of our area. The National Weather Service says hazardous travel likely will develop for much of eastern Pennsylvania Saturday morning, as snow begins falling around daybreak or shortly thereafter. The amount of snow predicted climbs the farther north one looks.  For Bensalem and most of Lower Bucks, the weather service as of midnight was predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow. That range increased to 2 to 4 inches in Doylestown and north through Quakertown. Horsham was predicted to get 2 to 4 inches, as well, while the Lower Moreland area was expected to get about 1 to 3 inches. Daytime temperatures on …

I thought their prediction wasn't bad this time around -- got around 3 or so inches here in the Wrightstown area.   more ›
