Southampton Days Meeting Cancelled

The meeting scheduled for Thursday evening was canceled due to lack of power at the farmhouse.

The Southampton Days meeting scheduled for this evening at the Tamanend Park Farmhouse is canceled due to the ongoing power outage. The next meeting will be on Thursday, December 6.

Southampton Days Parade Prize Winners

While ultimately everyone who participated in the Southampton Days Parade is a winner, Patch recognizes those judged best in category.

In a community tradition that stretches back nearly 100 years, the Southampton Days annual Fourth of July parade went off without a hitch again last week. Thousands lined Second Street Pike to witness various community members strut their stuff in celebration of our nation's independence. The Southampton Days Committee recognized several participants for their efforts, following a flag-raising ceremony at the conclusion of the parade on Wednesday. In the Floats category: 1st  Place - Lovenstein Family 2nd Place - Girl Scouts 3rd  Place - Concordia Lodge No. 67 In the Organizations category: 1st Place - Southampton Knights Cheerleaders 2nd Place -  Action Karate 3rd Place - Boy Scout Troop 400 Each entry in the parade was judged on the …

The 3rd Annual Talent Show will be featured this evening. .

Thought the Fourth of July fun was over? Not just yet! The Southampton Days Country Fair continues through Saturday. Thursday night is family night at the 41st annual Southampton Days Country Fair. Many businesses and local organizations will have tables set up around the fair at Tamanend Park ballfield beginning at 6 p.m. Besides all of the usual fun, the fair's 3rd Annual Talent Show will be held this evening from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. Admission to the fair is free. From 7 to 10 p.m. tonight, you can ride all the carnival rides you can handle for $20 per person Parking for the fair is available for $2 per car at Klinger Middle School, with proceeds benefitting Southampton Girls Softball. The fair will run from 6 until 11 p.m. every night …

The second day of the Southampton Days Country Fair promises even more fun with family night.
