Free Lunch For Veterans at Applebee's Sunday

Applebee's Thank You Movement serves meals to honor local heroes on Veteran's Day.

Philadelphia area Applebee’s restaurants will join Applebee’s across the nation to thank our country’s veterans and active duty military by inviting them for a free meal on Veterans' Day, Sunday, Nov. 11.  

The Thank You Movement gives Applebee’s the chance to treat veterans and active duty military from across generations with great food, as they share stories from their time serving our country.  

Last year, Applebee’s nationwide served more than one million meals, bringing the total number to more than three million since the program started in 2009.

“Applebee’s is proud to take a leadership role in thanking the men and women who keep our neighborhoods safe,” said Jeff Warden, President and CEO of the Rose Group. “Veterans and active duty military are America’s real heroes.” 

Applebee’s is offering Veterans a special menu including some of its signature and favorite items, such as the:

  • 7 oz. House Sirloin 
  • Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger 
  • Chicken Tenders Platter 
  • Oriental Chicken Salad 
  • Three-Cheese Chicken Penne
  • Fiesta Lime Chicken® 
  • Double Crunch Shrimp 


Applebee’s will begin serving lunch at 11 a.m. Offer is valid for dine-in only.

Guests will be asked to show proof of service which includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, or a photograph in uniform or wearing uniform.
