Got Drugs? Give them Back

Today is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day and unused or expired medications will be collected at several locations in our area with no questions asked.

Several state and local organizations are pairing up to help prevent pharmaceutical drugs from making their way into our water supply.

Today from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there will be a drop-off day for unused and expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.

Prescription and over-the-counter solid drug medications (tablets and capsules) will be accepted.  In addition, liquid medications, inhalers, creams, ointments, nasal sprays and pet medications will also be accepted.  Intravenous solutions, injectables and needles will not be accepted.
