: A Philadelphia woman who stole from her family’s business in Lower Moreland learned her fate in Montgomery County Court. Juliett Barzilayeva, 60, of the 1600 block of Welsh Road, was sentenced to nine-to-23 months in jail after pleading guilty to a felony charge of theft by unlawful taking in connection with the thefts of $154,000 from her cousin’s company. Get all of the details on Lower Moreland Patch.

: John Irby, 48, of Philadelphia, was arrested and is in custody in Montgomery County on charges of related crimes. Irby is the lead suspect in four theft cases being investigated in Bensalem and he is also suspected of a similar incident in Falls Township, according to Sgt. Andy Aninsman. : A fire at Stonington Farm Apartments in Doylestown Township damaged several of the apartments Thursday afternoon. None of the residents or firefighters were hurt battling the blaze, but residents of the damaged apartments had to find somewhere else to stay Thursday night while township officials assessed the damage to the building.
