Township Declares Disaster Emergency

Upper Southampton residents are advised to stay off of the roadways until further notice.

Upper Southampton Township has declared a Disaster Emergency, to remain in effect until further notice.

Residents who live in flood-prone or low-lying areas subject to flooding are "strongly encouraged to seek alternate shelter arrangements in higher ground and safer locations."

Everyone is asked to stay off the roadways, unless absolutely necessary to move for safety reasons.

The township reminds everyone to be monitoring the news media for information and updates. Residents should be prepared for long-term power outages as a result of the storm.
