Centennial School Board Reorganization Meeting

The Centennial School Board of Directors will hold its annual reorganization meeting this evening at 7 p.m.

The Centennial School Board of Directors will meet this evening to swear in the newest members and to nominate cabinet members for the upcoming year.

The board will also appoint its executive cabinet for the upcoming year this evening. For the past two years, all three members of the executive cabinet have hailed from Warminster Township.

This has been a point of contention among members of the board, as Centennial School District Policy 1.3 states: "The President and Vice President shall be, if possible, from different townships."

According to the policy manual, the Centennial School Board President is responsible for running all of the school board of directors meetings as well as appointing the members of the board's committees.

The meeting, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., will be held in the Board Meeting Room at the Johnsville Administration Building, 433 Centennial Drive, in Warminster.
